Our Undergraduate research assistant to the project had the opportunity to present the details of the IPTSA project at the CRHNet 2018 Annual Conference “Dealing With Uncertainty: Innovation and Practice”. This conference, attended by disaster and emergency management professionals in both the private and public sectors from across Canada provided an opportunity to reach those working and researching in this connected discipline.

The conference discussed themes of disaster research including that of violent crises and the connection it has to policies and implementation. The IPTSA project was presented during the second day of the three day conference and generated a great deal of interest.
